Help... does anyone know what the brake code "B" means on the Vehicle Certification Label on my 2000 Ford F150 pickup (made in Canada). I am trying to get replacement brake parts but I need to know what type of brakes I have. The Dealer tells me that there are about 20 different types for this model.

I have looked everywhere to no avail.

Am new to the board and would appreciate any help I can get. I read a bit here and tried some links, but could not find what it meant.

It'll be written on the disc brake caliper. For example PBR/Girlock etc.

B stands for 4 wheel anti lock brake system

Thanks for your replies. Was kinda hoping to not take them apart until I got replacement parts.

Russ, I noticed your post said Austrialia. Does the code mean the same thing in every country?

I really appreciate your answers (I posted on another board and got dissed already for being Canadian)
