I'm in the market now for an ED Fairmont, and just wondering if all you guys can give us some tips on these cars. Such as what to look out for.

Before I buy it, I wanna get a coolant pressure test. I've also heard that the transmission cooler can become defective, and i've been told I should get that sorted out straight away as its common on these cars...

As far as i know, the ED has its tranny cooler built in to the radiator. This is how it is on my EB so id assume the ED is the same. So as long as yer radiator is ok, so is yer tranny cooler..
