Water Leak! - AU

Hey all,

Well, it rained for once & when I got into my car this morning (AU XR6) I noticed when I placed my foot on the accelerator, water started to drip on it. Not much but enough for me to notice it.

Is there any common leaking problems with the AU Falcon (XR6) ?

Thanks for your time.

If its anything like the XF or XH, when the sill drain holes below the front windscreen get blocked, the water floods into the air vents which is where I bet your leak comes from.

Re: Water Leak! - AU

have a xh ute leaks straight onto control moduel box (brown with black bottom) under dash from windscreen wiper motor cavity. have cleaned every drain hole many times and even siliconed up were i thought it was leaking through! leaks less now but still enough that i have to replace the box once a year cant get rid of it. too much sentimental value any thoughts?
