My AU had water in the passenger footwell tonight after work.

It dried up when I was driving, it wasn't raining anymore and the heater was on.

I figure it's not the heater system so must be a leak to somewhere external, anyone else had this issue? I've heard of it on BA's but not on AU's

hey

most common leaks are front screen , but it could be a bad seal in the bulk head / fire wall like a missing seal ring or i am not being a smart arse but was the door shut as the slightest bit out water will get in.

i had a valiant wagon every time it rained it leaked the slights iddy bit , put it in a car wash and not a drop, got me stuffed.

Had this trouble with my el, mostly with air con, but with heater too when air was moist.. Check your drain hoses, mine got blocked because they were too short.
Long shot, but worth a look

It was when I got in, and looking up under the dash there were a few drops of water on the looms under there.

Not as yet, it hasn't repeated itself either and we've had a fair amount of rain here.

It definately came from up under the dash as there was water on looms up there.

My car is 1000km from service so I'll mention it then.
