elxr82, when braking and turning left around a corner i get a creaking, knocking sound coming from the front left suspension strut or brake disc area. Is worse when braking. Could it be ball joint or is it caliper problem? Shits me off. Car has done 44000km.

If your car has that many klms on it i would say its time for new balljoints particularly the bottom joints.

could be pads moving in the caliper, rack or ball joints... My guess would be pads...
