Hey, i have an EB fairmont with the 3.9 mpi engine...and its an auto :(
I have been driving it for a while now and im pretty happy with it power wise....but im always searching for more >:)
I have no money whatsoever, so i was wondering if there is any settings or anything that i can muck around with that might give me a bit more power. *shrugs* i dunno.
Thanks
Dane.

No offence man..was just a joke...computer controlled cars are tempermental. Cant do much with them without some hardware changes. I understand your position.

You could check to make sure the car is in good order, for example things like the brakes release fully, the plugs are clean and gapped correctly, the aircleaner not full of dirt, tyres at correct pressure and so on. if your cars well maintained then all of this should be ok. otherwise mods like cold air intakes are cheap - can you change the timing on eb's ?? id guess probably not, but if so you can usually tweak things a bit there. Ohh, and clean out any non essential weight (within reason....)
It just got a full service before I bought it (ie. new plugs, new leads etc) and I replaced the air filter like 2 weeks ago. So i know their in working order. I took off the towbar and i dont keep anything in the car other than like tapes cause i dont have a cd player.
Thanks
Dane.
