maybe when my lsd goes.
thanks for the replys
O.k firstly
Anny MAF prefered (C&L,pro-m,EbGt)? cost?
I was hoping to keep the stock look with the intake and stretch the eec-iv as far as it will go.
Then ya gotta do what ya gotta do.
Has anyone used the professional products typhoon 5.0 intake (eddlebrock perf coppy)as they are cheap?
they also have 65-75mm Throttle boddies & EGR.
Mayby this combo is what I should aim for?
Yes but be carefull going over the top there! Sure people will say for instance a Track heat is better than Street on Trick Flow stuff Same with Elelbrock's rpm rev range is higher which sounds good BUT the lower end is also higher as well. Yes Edelbrock performer, RPM may be too short on runners imo...Performer maybe better? Check out the size and lenth of runners compared to std? Way bigger. The Edelbrock with manifold cover that can come off to port or shorten runners latter is a good thing..Pro-m is better but more $$$ calibrated better..

Quality seems to be very bad, although they may have fixed it by now. In some cases the threads aren't cut in the lower intake, wrong size bolts supplied, lots of casting flash throughout the intake. Also they are based on the RPM intake, and with your motor, you will loose so much low down power, you will hate it.
I am like you and wanted to keep the factory looking appearance as much as possible, so I went for a FMS Cobra manifold. You couls also look at the Explorer intake from the EL2-AU XR8's as they flow very well. With a little work on the explorer or cobra lower, it will outflow the edelbrock and cost you half as much.
I went for the Pro-M which works really well. While you are at it, get some 24lb injectors and an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and you will have plenty of fuel for future upgrades.
