LPG has different combustion by-products than petrol, so needs an oil with a different additive mix.
You also need one that is stable at the higher temperatures LPG creates in the engine. I use Penrite Gas 20W-60 in summer and Castrol Gas 15W-40 in winter.
Why not ask your local cabbie what he uses.

I have used BP Corse Plus for many years in my Gas only 351 Clevo (in an F100 that works hard), with absolutely no problems.
I understand that a lot of cabs use this. There may now be something better, but I am happy with the BP oil, which has never let me down.
