cool where is the fuel filter

hi guys can't seem to find the fuel filter on an EA SPACK, manual, CFI.

bought the new filter today, popped the hood and can't seem to locate the thing...

lol mate the fuel filter is not in the engine bay.

jack the back of the car up and support with stands, then look under it about under where the passenger side rear seat is, you should see it.

be carefull when removing that you do not damage the threads and also make sure that it is aligned properly when you put the new one in otherwise you will cross thread it and be in a world of hurt.

Mine was down where the engine dissapears toward the gearbox. On the passenger side too BTW.

i didnt know they were different CFI to MPI? i thought they were in the same spot ?!?!?!

Make sure you block off the fuel lines properly before removing the old one or you'll have fuel dripping everywhere!
Remember the fuel lines are under pressure!

You dont need to jack it up, depending on if its lowered and how big you are! I did on my EA with just sliding underneath! I guess one benefit of the stock 4x4 ride height!
