Im getting one made up though a mate. He said something 2 do with Audi and being sent from Sydney, it is a custom job though. Anyways there white background with black or blue text, apparently the whole thing lights up and looks....how can I say....crazy and then some, will post it once it's done.
I did see some at the ford\holden show...wanting something like $270!!! yeah I know......
Once u see and if u like I'll see about getting your sorry ass one if you like ;P .......till then mate
Does anyone have a picture of the white dials. I'm really interested to see what they look like and how hard the would be to make??? It'll probably look dodgy but a bit of experimenting on a wrecked eb dash could be cool fun
I was just stuffing around with MS Paint, so obviously these are of a poor quality !
(NOTE : This is not due to my inexperience or lack of artistic skill, these poor pictures must be blamed solely on Microsofts lack of Programming skill, etc !)
and a wood style one
Again, these are cheap pictures, so dont flame me because of this.
While you're talking dashs, if I rip out my EB2 GLi dash I will see two connectors to undo. If I buy a 'S' dash or a 'chaser' dash and attempt to plug it in to the two connectors, will it connect (same size/pins allocations?) and will the tacho work? In other words, is the GLi and 'S' loom virtually the same? Is the GLi loom including wire/pins for the tacho etc (the poverty GLi dash just nulls on the 'S' gauge pins)?
