Ford Contour 1995 2.0 (140K mi)

Which element send a signal to the fan to start or how the heat system work (elements that take part of it)...cuz my car is getting kinda hot according to the dashborad needle but right when is getting above the normal its start going down to normal again but it takes time cuz its already really hot...i guess (cuz am already change the thermostat and flush n clean the radiator and put new antifreez) something (but WHAT?) is not sending at the proper moment the signal to the computer to start the fan until its too late...but that is just a guessing...i am no a mecanic...so...

people w/ experience .... am all ears...

I guess it's realy a Mazda ? Check wires back from your thermo fans if thats what they have.Fuses/ relays,connectors may not be working or connected..Sensors too. Try hot wireing the fans to check if it makes it better. Carefull that pollarity is correct earth to earth etc..Ie earth may switch them on??

Ok. Usually in an electronically controlled motor, the fan is controlled by the computer, using the signal from the temperature sender. Often there is more than one sender: one for the computer, and one for the dash.
I suggest you retrieve the error codes from your computer (your manual should tell you how), and you will probably find that you need to renew the temperature sender unit in the motor.

Have a bit of patience, diagnosing car problems without looking at the car is not easy.

Have you done all that the others have suggested?. Do that first then get back to us.

I dunno about the others, but I've never heard of a Ford Contour, so I don't have a clue what the codes could mean. For that I suggest you walk into the local dealer and ask them what the codes mean, they will tell you for free.
But it is likely these error codes are for the temperature sender - check it out before you buy one though! :)
