hey just wondering if n e one had the same problems i had

i received the water jet neons off my nan for xmas and have just startded to install em...
problem 1: the instructions are in chinese
problem 2: where the old ones were the hole is too small to put the new washer

and finally...where to wire em to...

i was just wondering if n e one else had these problems and how did they over come them...
also if i want to wire them to the park lights how would i go about it...just splicin the wire ? if so which one...

p.s i know not many people like these lights, but i got them for xmas...so i am putitng then in...+ i am only putting them to park lights...so it aint that bad.

Umm, wire them strait onto the battery, then to a switch, then to the washer, put the switch in the cabin.

Chinese instructions suck.

File the bonnet away VERY Carefully, and all shoud be good.

What color car and washers did u get??

Yeah I hate those things.

But if you really want to wire them up you need to get power from the interior light circuit so that the washer lights come on when you turn on your driving lights. The easiest way I can think of is the cigarette lighter. Join a wire and run out through the firewall somewhere ( clutch cable bracket).

problem number three, cops dont like them and will make you take them and if there's other rice boy stuff they may even swap you for a nice yellow sticker to go on your windscreen.

If your nan gave them for Xmas, put em in, to hell what everybody thinks and to hell with what the law says. They can't be as deadly as a dirty big bull-bar, which are legal.

Whats the problem anyway with things like this and the law? Its not like they are laser lights that are going to shine into an oncoming car and blind the driver? The same as the blue driving lights, they don't stand out anymore then the lexus halogen super white headlights, and they're totally legal. You can't say they dont look blue at certain angles.

Forward facing lights need to be white or yellow light to be roadworthy. Any other colour and your car could get a defect notice.

Yeh, your neons, your car, your wallet - go for it, the fines aren't that much. I think only $72 in NSW.

yeh i know the cops are always being buggers wif em..that is why i wanna wire them up to my park lights so that i wont be driving wif them on..

one other question why would i wire em up to a washer...just wondering

Would wiring them up to the interoir lights be a good idea sos they only come on when u open the door or swith the interior lights on ?
