window scratch

my ef rear window is scratched on exterior looks like something inside the door scratched it as it was rolled up and its got a nasty looking streak effect on all the way up the window. any way to repair it or am i SOL?

Depends on how deep the scratch is. A lot of windscreen joints can polish it out (get them to have a look) - but it may be cheaper to source a good second hand one from a wrecker.

You can buy a special tool and paste to do it if it's not too bad and even for deep scratches. Go here http://www.eastwoodco.com/ and hit the plastic and glass repair link. Aust paint and panel suppliers sell similar gear but it would be cheaper to buy a secondhand glass if you can.

well i can feel it with my fingernail and been told that means its too deep to fix cheaply :( on closer look the other rear window has the same thing just not as bad i dont know wot caused it coz it was like this when i got the car
