window tinters in SA

Can anyone recommend a place in SA who can do car window tinting?

I'm looking at getting someone to remove the crappy tint I've got on it now and replace it with good quality tint with warranty and still make it look good.

I know 30% legal tint is recommended but does anybody here have anything darker?

Pics and opinions will be appreciated.

Cheers
blueoval

70% is the legal limit for the 2 front windows and 35% for all other windows. i found this out when i had to go over the RTA. All companies tint all windows at 35% usually. Id recommend tint-a-car they do a brilliant job but usually a few more $ than others.. Instant windscreens do tinting pretty cheap usually. Just ring round and get a few quotes.

when i had my laser i got it done by instant windscreens, problem i had was big gaps from end of tint to edges of windows. ive had 4 tints done by tint-a-car and cant find a thing wrong plus they have excellent service.

Can also recommend Tint-A-Car. Had the tint done and got rid of the car 8 years later without a problem. Have to agree they are more expensive, but you tend to get what you pay for here.

Re: window tinters in SA

blueoval - Remember how dark the tint was on my Fairlane? It was a mobile guy, he did it that dark, it only cost me $250, that included him coming to my house, and removing my old tint. Only problem, has blotches in it for a bout 2 weeks afterwards because of the glue drying, but when it dries it is fine.

Re: window tinters in SA

I remember now. Yeah there are a few mobile guys around that do this.

Was there a warranty with this mobile guy you got Mighty?
