What do you think the chances are of an X series forum getting started up? Just like the E series one. Maybe even a tech section on the 250? A bit of feed back would be ace! Thanks

I wouldn't mind it.. but it's sorta separating all the users isn't it?
Couldn't we just have different tech sections in The Garage? or something like that? It just seems that there are too many sections to browse through these days...
How about a white, EB2, XR8, 150-200k dent in boot forum for me?
This is suppose to be Fordforums (as in all different types), if you want to keep breaking it up into your own little sections all the time it's going to be the death of it in my opinion.
I for one enjoy reading about all sorts of cars, if you want to talk about X series cars only, then go and start your own page.
I guess I agree with you Pearly-XF. I think a lot of the E-series/A-series people have once owned or had an interest in the X-series, so we can benefit from their experience provided they offer advice when it is asked for. Unfortunately it's a bit of a one-way street since we can't offer much to them in return.
There is no plans to create an X series forum as part of this site. In time the E series tech will probably be merged with the garage to prevent fragmentation of information. This would just leave the E series with their clubs general discussion area and club meet area. The only reason we currently have seperate areas for their tech, is because it was merged in from their old forums in that way, and we are waiting for things to settle down a bit before combining their tech sections in with the garage.
As tech is so similar between all the falcons, there is really no point in splitting it up and fragmenting it into about 5645475445574554 different sections. The KISS principle will be aplied and things will be streamlined as mich as possible.
Juest an idea fellas, I was just sick of having to search through all the AU and E series articles to find the few X series articles. I just figured that the 250 x-flow and pre x-flow has been around for a hell of a lot longer than the 3.9 and 4.0 litre hence you'd think that there would be a bit more of a call for it than the e series section but if you are merging the e series back into the garage then fair enough. Thanks for the feed back!
I think the purpose of australia.fordforums.com it to included techincal articles on ALL fords. Perhaps some experienced ford enthusiast/s could submit some articles on modifying late X series falcons for us new to the game. I know I can benefit greatly from other peoples experiences and guidance.

You have that right, that is the point of the site I am building, I will even launch it officially one day too lol!
Seriously though it isn't too far off, have a few things to work out and it will launch, probably within the next month as i have holidays starting friday and running till late july.
Even tho I love my X model Falcons I don't want more splits to the forums
