I have an old XC GS which I picked up a while back - somebody's driven it into a ditch and ripped the stub axle out, bending the lower wishbone as well.
Does anybody know if I can use the wishbones from a different, more common car like an XF? Or will I have to find an XC.

by memory, and that is often hazy, the same running gear was used in all vehicles from the XW up to the XF, (except for the rear end)Thus the wishbones should be the same. I do remember changing the ball joints on the XC and the XD, and the method was similar.

The arms are the same but the XF uses a 14mm camber pin as opposed to the XC's 1/2" so the lower bush centre hole is different..I'm pretty sure you can interchange the XC bushes into the XF arms though. The uppers are all the same.
