Hey all
The door on my xe is droped so im trying to change the bushes in the hinge to fix it. Ive taken the door off so there is the car with the whole hinge still attached. Ive looked at the pin on the hinge but there seems to be a clip in there or something which is stopping me from hitting the pin out. Does anyone know how to get this clip out / pin out?

don't waste your time fixing hinges. the XG ute has same hinge with a circlip fitted to the pin for easy removal but i would be going to a wrecker and getting a left hand door hinge(usually not used as much) but make sure that it opens easily as they have a BAD habbit of rusting tight where the wheel that holds the door open(still on the hinge) this is why the door itself breaks around the bottom hinge. i welded a plate over this broken area on my door on my XG ute and then fitted an XF hinge and re adjusted. works a treat XG doors are different in the lock area otherwise i would have put an XF door on instead

just bash it out with a hammer or something, figure out a way...
