confused Xe headlights

Hey,
I new to this forum but have been reading for a while now and im wondering if the headlights on an xe fairmont are actually bigger than the ones on the standard gl. Ive notcied this in pictures and im wondering if its just me. Im looking at buying an xe right now and am unsure. If ya could help me to clear this up it would be great.
Cheers
Anthony

Yes they are different on ESP's and Fairmonts, and coz of this so is the bonnet where it meets the grill.
They have a separate high beam to the main light.

Xe Fairmont - Lights are the same as GL
XE Ghia/ESP - these incorporate a built in driving light and are a different width, the Ghia bonnet's leading edge is therefore shorter and unique to the XE range.

Cheers and welcome to the addictive world of Ford Forums
