XE for RWC

Gday all,

Tomorrow i'm taking the xe up for a RWC and was just wondering what to look out for?

Everyhitng i can see looks good like tyres, all lights work etc etc.

What are some common things that they might fail me for with an XE. What have been peoples past experiences with them and RWC?

Thanks guys

just did the same thing with my XE ute,

idler arm bushes (can't remember how much)
upper ball joints - both sides ($39 each)
sway-bar bushes ($70 from pedders for complete set)
drivers door hinges (approx. $60 each from Ford)
front dampers (Monroe's about $60 each
tailpipe replaced (hole) ($70)

Amercan Auto Parts website has prices for most of the stuff - I did all the fitting myself

Whoever/s doing the pinkslip will give you a rundown on what they think needs replacing/repairing anyway - just need to take it back when you've fixed them
