Does anyone know if the AUII XR8 220 70mm throttle body has the same wiring connectors for the ISC and TPS as the ones on the ED XR8's. Also, does anyone have an idea what ford charge for the throttle body, and for the rubber tube ducting from the throttle body to MAF.
Cost me $54000 it come with the car haha only jokin.
Sorry mate No idea but would also be interested to find out as my mate just got him self a ED XR8. (he upgraded from a Holden)
The BBk/Edelbrock ones seem to have a bad rep in USA due to poor build quality. Holley make some good ones, but at around $570, I think I will just get the FMS 65mm unit ($380 complete with TPS and ISC).
xr8_sprint, after looking at the 70mm throttle bodies, I have found that there is no gain over the FMS 65mm, some say you can actually loose low down power by upgrading to a 70mm.
A tickford 70 mm throttlebody has a list price of over 1000.00 dollars,i have tested the difference between th 70 and 65 and beleive me on a std 220 kw engine it makes no difference dont wast your money. On the AU you must run the ford throttle bodys as the earlier tps switches witch come on the aftermarket bodys will not work properly.with the later engines.

What throttle body would you recommend on an ED XR8 producing around the 250kw mark. I still think the 65mm will be plenty, but do you have any other options.
