XR8 Air Intake

well i took a punt and got a tickford XR8 (auii) air intake for my AUii forte
$27.50 from any ford dealer fitting, 2 screws and 3 minutes of my time.
the mouth on it is a lot bigger than the stander one
and it's got the wings on it
car sound a lot better and thortel response in much better than stock and seams to run smother

I would also like to install the lager intake on my xr6 will the xr8 fit mine as well ?

Guys, guys, just an idea before you go ahead. I had a KN filter fitted in my car and I changed the filter by mistake to the original paper one. Absolutely no difference AT ALL. I know that cause I lined up with the the XR just after I did that, trust me, no difference at all.
Rob from Herrod said that as well, no increase in power on any cold air changes unless you go ahead and mod the exhaust, throttle etc. Better response???mmmmmmmaybe, that's what I call it placebo effect .

Repo : yeah it it fit no prob's

Ayman : i am not saying the it made much diffrance but if you have seen the size diff in the size of the mouth on them (forte v Xr8)
you gota figure more air getting in can't be a bad thing?
