XR8 air intake

Does anyone know if the XR8/GT ram pod style air intake can be fitted to a Barra182 engine???
I am thinking of getting one fitted and shielding it in the engine bay, as well as providing a better cold air feed. Does it outperform the stock Barra182 intake?

I saw the 2 different setups at the melbourne motor show, and it looked to me as if the xr8 intake went down underneath the front bar to collect the air. The barra 182's had the same snorkel as previous models..

So, you might have to look at the xr8 to see exactly where they put the snorkel, and whether or not you could hook something up the same as it yourself.. I'm pretty sure the airbox/pod filter would fit, but it would be a matter of getting the snorkel to fit the way you want it to..

Cheers,
Yagz
