XYGT fuel cap?

My dad aquired a xygt fuelcap today and i was just wondering is it genuine? I found part numbers they are ARC9DA-9030-A Its got fomoco cast onto it. Are these caps usually hard to find? as I dont reallly know much about the Xys..

polishing it with autosol at the moment its coming up verry shiny.. It has a few pitted spots it does need rechroming..

Did you score the surround as well or just the cap,and hang onto that one.

Nope only got the cap galaxy...
