460 Cortina

Has any body seen or know anything about fitting a 460 into a TE Cortina?

nah iam from vic i put that up as a joke.
basicly you have to make everything fit and cut the body up be very hard to try and get engineerd as you need to cut the firewall up, both inner gards and prob;y the trans tunnel as well to fit a c6 there.
a 427 like what is use in the rigy cobra is 7in wideer then the 428/460 engine but there not much larger then a clevland.
if your want big cubes just fit a 351 tall deck windsor and stroke it to 427ci.

the Windsor would be a far better choice, even the 9.2 deck 351w can be stroked to 408 now, the kits are on ebay for $1200, there is also a 408 engine on there now for sale in the turbo and performance section.
