does any 1 know how difficult it is to put a late model ford 6 into a corty such as a 1 from a eb-au isw it easier 2 get the manual or auto into it? has any 1 done this conversion

Yeah I'm doing it at the moment. Depends on the model corty you got. If you have a TE/TF the EB/ED engine is a bitch to fit. Get a EL engine couse the plenum chamber is higher and wont hit the guard. If you have an older model corty, the guard is further and the plenum chamber fits ok, but you'll have a bunch of other problems.

yep it can be done. it's not a weekend conversion though. the EB/D manifold is a shit to fit into any cortina. i used a T5 manual. there's heaps more info about my car in the link below.
