Question 8 without engineers

put simply can you put an 8 in a TC corty without having to get an engineers certificate. even if it is a 289 or sumthing.

Yeah you could, but if you get caught i would presume they would tak it off the road until it was engineered. I am not sure what fines and penalties there would be though.

Why would you want to? You would have no insurance either. S#!t like that is just asking for trouble. Anyway, there are plenty of engineered tc 302w's so it cant be too hard to do either....

Have a TE 302v8 sitting in the backyard. It was caught without a engineers report. No fines just put of the road. You have to convert to LPG in Victoria to engineer ADR cortina's . The car won best late cortina at ford day 2004 and is just sitting under covers now.The rear trailing arms need boxing in & LPG . plus fuel tank removal for engineers.
But new hobbies come along and old ones put to 1 side. LOL
