Clear indicator lenses....

My mate showed me a nice tc in his zoom magazine. There was this tc with a fj20 turbo nissan motor, all nice paint lowered, simmonds, real real nice car. The plates are WILDTC Im sure some of you would have seen it before.

What caught my eye was that the front indicators were clear. They had the orange bulbs to make the orange light. Like you see on some newer cars. I never thought you could get something like this for a TC.

But now that I know you can I bloody well want some. They looked pretty cool I recon.

And can you get the same for the tail lights as well? It might look a bit ricer but it also might not. Cant really tell until you see em.

So anyone know where to get em?

Any help here would be great.

Thanks

Get repro indicators, and wash the colour out of them with thinners I recall works, as i sorta mucked up mine that way, when I owned my TC, I painted them orange again, should have painted the bulbs, oh well 12 years ago how was I to know.

Re: Clear indicator lenses....

thanks for the info tanus mk2 but I think the lenses on the taunus are a bit different to those on the tc.

I could only find some that were similar but not exact. This was in the taunus 2004 catalogue section.

I have found the correct tc lenses in england but they are like 95 AUD including postage. So if I can find em any cheaper Im all ears.

thanks

Re: Clear indicator lenses....

Hey those clear indicators look good. But what really looks good is the fact that the car is a bloody two door! Sweet!

You cant get them like that over here. Have you got any other pics? Maybe some from the back?

Re: Clear indicator lenses....

Yeah we only have the four door in sedan and wagon form. I would love to be able to get the two door like you have.

Your car looks really nice. It would be VERY unique if it were here in Australia.

Its a left hand drive is it?
