Re: glove box gotta go!!!

You could always replace the entire dash with one out of a TD corty...

nah keep the tc dash I recon. The three circular displays in front of the steering wheel are sweet as. Makes the car look old (and thats a good thing).

The rest is not that good. Especially the airvents and two red lights (god I hate them). But I still like it better than the td dash for sure.

If you want something a bit different you can rip out the centre console. It opens up the dash area a fair bit. Check it out on my car. The only thing is that it leaves a bit of a hole in the carpet. New carpet coming soon.

Re: glove box gotta go!!!

This is my TD's dash. Not as flash as Boosted22's but it'll do. Also no ignition key which you can't see in the photo. Autometer oil pressure, water temp, fuel pressure with isolator, Tacho with shift light and 160mph electric pickup speedo, 5 two colour light up switchs and push button for starter. Also B&M Pro Ratchet shifter and the gold box in front of it is a Pro Comp PC6AL CDI with rev limiter. Under the dash is a Holden Camira blade style fuse box to replace the standard engine bay mounted one. And best thing no stereo. Sorry about the pic it's off the phone

Re: glove box gotta go!!!

That looks real good td302. Way better than the stock dash. Is that yellow light between the speedo and tacho the shift light?

The ratchet shifter looks sweet too. But jesus no stereo, thats hardcore, you must really love that 302 sound.

Re: glove box gotta go!!!

Yeah mate thats the shift light. I've been through the stereo fad before Jan 2001 HOT4's "YES SIR" it was an Excel (don't hold it against me) but only because it was cheap and a good starting point for a car audio comp car.
