Re: hub caps; your choice!

Yeah I know what your saying. But if its not a near perfect finish, and dont worry its nowhere near, then I'm not down with it. It just looked cheap/tacky.

It was still a great idea davway, its just a shame I went too sick on the black paint.

So, I painted the silver wheel black again and threw the kmart hubcaps back on. Im happy with the look at the moment.

There is one more thing for me to consider is that now the wheels themselves are black. If I went back to the original style, a strip of the painted black wheel would be visible between the inner cap and the outer band, if you know what I mean. And that would look cool.

But my original outer bands are f**ked and a new set costs like 40 bucks. Maybe ill do it when I get bored with this awesome kmart style. haha

Re: hub caps; your choice!

Its the outer bands that I am mainly interested in. Would you sell them separately? For how much?

Or would you only sell them all together? And for how much?

thanks mate

Re: hub caps; your choice!

Really. I have never seen them. What do they look like? (Sorry I know how hard wheels/hubcaps are to describe). Got any pics?

I thought there was only the style that I have. Interesting.

Re: hub caps; your choice!

I just had a look on ebay, and it seems some saab wheels are 5 stud...

maybe it was the earlier ones that were 4 stud only..

Keep the originals! They make the car look really smick! Ive got hubcaps very similar to yours, but they have FORD written on them, and they have 'ribs' on the outside face. They might be another option for you if you want a subtle change. I have also seen the original hubcaps on widened rims, which looks awesome, because the car still has that sort of 'sleeper' look.
