Hi Guys and girls , went to easternats at sandown on the sunday and was severely dissapointed by the lack of showing by cortina enthusiasts . there were a few v8 td's and tc's and two te 6's but other than that the whole day was domminated by torana's and bloody vl turbos . i admit my car was sitting at home in pieces so i cant really complain too much . just thought youd like to know .
Yeh there was one TE at powercruise, a silver one with gold B45's, 6cyl manual. I felt like going home and getting mine, but didnt really have $200 to spare, plus its in the paper this week.
haha my mate had his TE there at Easternats. It was the one that was frog green and the plates were SIKST6 (borrowed from another mates VL Turbo). Anyway he had problems with it all weekend, kept blowing bottom and top hoses finally got that fixed and he fried the clutch. Poped one set of tyres thou.
yeah saw the green one .i think i ,might even have a snippet of video of him ( wife had the camera !) just trying to sort it all out and will try to post some of the portions of it .there was only the green TE and another in undercoat with a chick driving she did alright though even though the car looked like shit .
not far now i have had the motor and box in and out three times now getting everthing right.but its ready to go back in now.the so called drop in fit extractors from castlemaine rod shop dont fit??.i have almost finished flat flooring my boot to.but as usual i run out of cash so its just the fiddly bits im doing.

Hi corty fans, i'm even more pissed off cause i didn't even get to go as my te wagon was waiting for it's new power plant now its here i've decided to paint her(2PAC..ultra violet...BA..purple) so more waiting :( so in the meen time i have been tweaking the interior just to jazz the old girl up any way i'll keep u updated for any info feal free to ask...from ROB250..ANOTHER CORTINA LOVER.:)

Im sure it was dissapointing for you, but in a way I think its a good thing. It means that our cortinas wont get played out like the toranas and vl turbos. When you bring you car to a show people wont be "oh just another te" they'll be "wow look at that, thats a te cortina" SICK!
