out of which 250's tho, pre xflow, xflow, XF efi, i was thinking along the lines of a fuel injected one from a XF falcon?

yeah true, in a light car like a corty helps, what was the engineer blue slip ect requirments like? was then any hassle with the fuel injection system?

if u'r gonna go to the trouble of injecting a 250, go the little bit extra and use an injected 4.0L OHC

i bought a motor yesterday, it is already injected, from a XF, will it go straight in with out modifying the sump?

u'll need to use a cortina sump and pickup. if it's got a viscous fan u'll probably have to change the water pump and fan over too.
