Mk2 Cortina V8, Motor is in. Need Info - Ford Forums

I have just fitted a 302windsor c4 and 9 inch into my 68 cortina. I want to fit 5 stud falcon discs to the front, how is this done, i cant find an off the shelf kit (capri is differnt kit) How much strain is put on the struts? do they need to be strengthened? The car is street rego, and will be raced at drags, possible wheel standing, will this brake the std struts ? If anyone has a link or info on this help would be awsome, THanks

I had a direct bolt on replacement kit from Hoppers Stoppers which I just sold to dicast. I don't know if they do kits for mk2 but it's only a phone call to find out.

They have kits at hoppers stopers.. my mate just got one for a mk2 cortina, running AU 2 DBA cross drilled/slotted rottors and AU2 Twin pistion calipers.... Lots of stoping power. with booster, master cylinder and brake lines and hoses, around 1500-1700 un fitted
