Hey,
Nah, tis a sedan (440 - four door "luxo" model - one below the L and nowhere near the 1600E). I have never seen a decent MkII Cortina 220-240 in the Hunter Valley. All wanted way too much money or were buckets of rust. Or both. Besides (sensible hat on) I'll never outgrow a sedan
Cheers for the link to Shirleys - I lost in in the change of computer and never found it again. Has nice movies of a MkI 440 doing an excellent set of donuts/burnouts too! Although I do prefer Toyota over Nissan, especially because I know how tough their engines are. When they say Tonka Tuff, they're being modest!
http://www.pixelmatic.com.au/cortina/ is a good site. It has an article by Terry Conway
http://www.pixelmatic.com.au/cortina.../racknpin.htmlon using a MkII Escort rack in a Corty, although it does involve a few mods I think are beyond my puny capabilities. I'm a bit nervous when it comes to crossmember mods.
BTW EBXR, its in Street Machines Ford Special. Page 108, and the company they're talking about is Revelation Racing Supplies in Sydney (02) 99073755.
The Front bumper is still in the boot after the painting of the undercoat. I'm in two minds about replacing it, 'cause it does look rather nasty without it. But then again, it'd probably help in the Uni carpak. I might go half and half and cut the bumper down to make quarters
68GT - If you're chasing bits, let me know. I may have it lying in the shed. Especially when you consider I've wrecked (as in bought for parts) quite a few of the little jiggers. And mines never going to be concourse :p
Speaking of never being concourse,
