YEAH ya can legaly put and 8 in it in nsw i just regoed mine 4weeks ago but ya have to comply with ADR27A which is an emissions reg..there are 3 ways around it, LPG,EFI or i got a motor from an importer thats an 80s model but you have to retain all the pollution gear for rego...thats air cleaner EGA and factory carb heat riser and exhaust manifilds...talk to a engineer b4 ya start and theyll fill ya in on the details....see ya on the street...
