sbc350/nitrous1973 cortina 2 door

i'm have a 2 door mk3 gt. it's a 4 cylinder model.
i bought a 550hp sbc chevy+ 250 nitrous + th350 full manual.
i think i'd better go for a full chassis than a back half cause the engine won't fit. and if it does it's too much weight infront of the tyres. i need some pics of chassis buildups for cortinas. tube preferably. well done for your very informative forum.

Re: sbc350/nitrous1973 cortina 2 door

I'd just recess the firewall.. I had a 302w in a 4 door TD and there wasn't any problems with too much weight over the front. I don't think you'll find many pics of any full tube chassis cortina's. Every cortina I know of down to 8sec 1/4's are either std rear ends or are full tubbed and 4 linked. I'm building a turbo'd 351c TC atm and I'm only doing--- seam welding, mini tubs and a 6 point cage (just to keep andra happy) and a few chassis bracing tricks here and there.
All the best with your build up
