I race a TE Cortina in Dirt track speedway, and i have been told that u can stroke the 250, but i am having trouble sourcing it, does any body know of where i can get a stroker kit?

we had a worked cam in the old motor but at Easter i punched 2 x 3 inch holes either side of the dip stick and broke the cam into 4 pieces, that motor was pulling around 5,500 revs, but my current standard motor only pulls 4k in any gear

u can but not a whole lot. i cant remember exact specs but the increase would only be minimal due to the position of the camshaft and the machining of the block required to allow for the extra throw.

i've heard of it being done but didnt know there was a kit available.

you can use a 221ci crank. not sure what rods and pistons tho.
