TF diff into TE?

Are these the same? can they be swaped?

Yes. Done it before just make sure you get one rom the same engine type. ie 6yl for 6cyl as they have different pinions/yokes for a four and six.

Will be the same but the TF 6 uses a collapsable shim in front of the pinion. Think TE was 2.77:1 or 2.92:1 but TF was 2.78:1. I ise a 4 cyl TE diff with 3.5:1 but changed the pinion yoke to the 6 cyl uni cup style !!!
