well my te turbo 4.1 project has started i got eb six on n2o to make my custom manifold and he did a great job.he welded the turbo flange towards the front of the motor so it clears the brake booster.plus its made it easier for intercooler piping.i bought a brand new to4b turbo off ebay for $800.ive bought all the xf efi head and manifold for $100 bucks from the wreckers and now it looks like the efi manifold wont fit under the bonnet.now im pulling my motor down to send away for machining it turns out the motor wasnt to bad its bored out 40thou and the pistons cleaned up nice.think it was recently rebuilt as everything in it looks new.heres a couple of pics ill put more up as i go.

Nice. I hope you're changing the pistons they look like 200ci flat tops with the XF head would raise the compression too far even for N/A. You would need XF "dish" top pistons and probably need to cc the chambers aswell to get the compression low enough for some decent boost. I have seen the XF EFI manifolds on cortys before so it should fit.
I'll be keeping track of this one as I'm building a twin turbo OHC I6 for my mates TE

i dont know if there 200 pistons but they are 40thou oversize.im goin to run acl dished pistons.hopefuly my plan is to be turn key by xmas ill post pics as i go
