will it fit? tc cortina

just would like to know would a AU 6 motor fit in to a TC, wat mods are involeved?
and any info would be good.

dimention wise it will fit..
physically it wont fit due to the unmodable cast alloy sump.

EA -- EL will fit coz u can modify the sump.
Late EL motors some come with AU internals.. and the AU non VCT head fits EA -- EL blocks...

yes your better off getting a newer EL motor
as this will be basicly the same exept you can actually put it in your car.
