hay guys and girls
just wondering if the rotors and hubs from a xt falcon bolt staight on to a cortina stub axle???
or any thing else with 5 stud
....thanks heaps....
not straight on. i have xw front discs but u have to machine the bearing lips inside the hubs. cant remember the dimensions off hand andalso cant remember which disc u cant use cos they dont have enough meat in the guts to machine. i think u have to use pbr rotors and not dba. still use normal xw-xf front wheel bearings.

If its a TE the Xw hub bolts right on.... u machine the hub down to 9.5 mm where the disk mounts and then make ya bracket up to mount ya caliper.. i can get a diagram if needed

cheers ROB250
HELLO ROB ..I have a TF Cortina with 5 stud and there is no easy way of doing it.
I used xw rotors but the worst part was using hq calipers ,was told we had to use them by a respected speed shop.Had the axels redone by a place in Adelaide they cut the four stud hub off and welded a new 5 stud hub on and redrilled the brake drum and balanced them.Tyres and rims are off AU falcon and thats the only ones that will fit with good clearance (with 225/50/16 tyres).Well i should say thats all i have found.
Any way all the best with your corty.CHEERS WINGY.....
Is that advice thru Castlemaine Rod Shop. If not c them as they have a similar kit with HQ calipers. I lost interest after spending too much for rego and let it sit under the mango tree.
