hi guys, i have a td corty 4.1 xflow turbo engine, c4 box and 9 inch diff. has run 10.10@132mph a couple weeks ago at WSID. it has 401hp at the wheels

welcome to the forums.nice car mate im jelous im building my te to run in the tens at the moment and cant wait to get behind the wheel.seems to be prety popular now 250 turbos.what you done to your motor.

thanks guys. yeah its a hand full off the mark, it all depends on how hard you launch. I had two half passes and one all out one. on one of my passes i left the line on 5lbs and the front end came up pretty high, i nearly hit the wall. i had to come off it, then when i came back around ANDRA warned me not to launch like that again. So on the last past i letf the only on 1lb it still picked up the wheel but not as violent as the pass i had before. resulting in a 10.10@132mph. it should run nines , there is alot more in it. as for the engine its got all the good parts in it. steel rods,forgies ect. keep tuned guys i'm after the quikest street 6cylinder corty title.

I think the 6 cyl Cortina record is about 9.40?

i think that 9.40 time is from that blue cortina from wollongong. its a very quick car . i remeber seeing that car run low tens years ago at the old creek.
