hi, i was just curious if it is possible to have an adjustable boost setup on a supercharged engine? & if so how is it achieved?

the capa kits are set at 9psi

to adjust this all you would need to do is put a smaller pulley on the front of it - which would make the blower spin faster - therefore more boost

yes it is possible ,but the arrangment would look ugly using and variable speed drive belt assembly as used in industry.would have to be mechanically operated.

The other way is to stick on a really small pulley to spin the absolute shite out of it then set up a controller of some type to pulse width modulate a valve/vent to vent off the excess pressure. This works well on centrifigal blowers to get more low down boost.

pretty sure vortec make a venting excess valve of some sort, uses comp management to work though and prolly costs a packet!!!
