why does it have to be an ait manifold?

i know that iz not much, but an ea ait turbo kit is common, the 7th injector failed, cause the car to run lean, hence crackin the manifold, i would settle for an other manifold, but nearly all are (wank factor) top mount manifold, which means i have to change my entire exhaust setup
