i dont think just because the sw is on the other side of the car it would interfere with the kit itself. I have sold SC kits in au to Ford owners and Holden owners with no issues.
I also wonder given that Ford reversed (or is that flipped) the intake manifold for its Australian V8's. They must have had a good reason for doing so. The question may be can we simply flip the US stuff around; if the top of the engine is symmetrical it should work.
