Trav,

There are a fair few differences.

It all depends on what you want out of the system. Carby your talking?

I'll run you through some of the pros and cons.

Suck Through
Usually no need to modify carb to handle boost

Usually have to increase fuel supply
Hard to run an inline cooler
Extra piping
Remote mounting carb

Blow Through
Inline cooling
No need to move carb position (factory position)

Carb usually needs mods to handle boost (solid floats, seal throttle shaft, etc)
Extra piping

There are a heap more pros and cons, but you get the general gist of things.

I personally prefer blow through, but yeah.

Hope that helps

There are limitation both ways..Suck through, as there is fuel in incomeing air, an intercooler cannot be used so boost is somewhat limited..
With blow through carb needs sealing or atleast fuel floats that don't cave in under boost presure which I thought limits power but check this site out..

Go down to Kelly and Wills Falcon...All he has done is filled floats with foam.Said he has tried bigger carbs but runs into metering troubles..Runs std 250 carb...Good times....
