question for boost? is your car turbo, and if so did you get it done? or did you buy it like that?? if you did do it what was the final cost with how much boost??

i asked boost these questions in in earlier post and this was his reply:
"well it currently runs an sta blower (9psi at present) it started with a powerdyne but that was shit. Ths sta is high flowed but still isnt that good, ill go a vortech or a garrett turbo wen i have the cash, its got a 700x300x75 tube and fin intercooler. the motor was fully preped the block was completely done and o ring gooves machined (for the copper head gasket) the rod were machined and x-rayed at the airport (highest quality standards) very nice pistons, umm head was ported and polished chambers cc'd comp ratio 8:4-1, all quality valve gear. Cant remember everything that was done. Bosch motorsport pump, 803 blue injectors. The box is out of my s pak (standard but is quickly on its way out!) and the clutch is a 5 puck ceramic plate with a heavily modded pressure plate setup that gives heaps of clamp with no extra pedal effort. Computer was completely remapped by fueltronics (shithouse job) 3 times now, on the dyno. Diff is heavily modified with 3.45 gears from a vl. do u mean cost for the car or the driveline mods? cos i will tell u motor not car (embarassing!) Other info- runs hieght adjustable bilstien front struts and bilstien rear shocks, adjustable sway bars, full nolethane bushes, 18x8 roh monaco's (polished) 245/40/18 f1 tyres, stainless exh, big stereo, full bare metal respray inside and out ."
yeh the previous post say it all, well the kit costs around $5500 with everything (standard motor) needed, if i was someone thinking of forced induction now i would go turbo, have a custom manifold made up approx $1000 a new garrett gt30 turbo $2500 (flowed to ~700hp), and 45mm external wastegate $800, big intercooler $1200 big injectors and pump and other stuff like piping with possibly a new inlet plenum welded to oem manifold $1000. Perhaps run a standard motor at around 10-12 psi till it blows up then have done what i have and 250-300kws at the wheels should be a snack, thats what i am gonna do when i win the lotto!
theyre coming very soon! by the way i had my car on the dyno today after the new cam and it went off the chart and round much more (dyno only reads to 200kws at the wheels) and that was at 4500 rpm, with peak power at around 5250 i cant wait to get it on a better dyno!
hey boost, r u in the southern area??? is ur car a silver colour??? and do u have a front mount intercooler??? if so i saw u goin on2 south road from sherrifs road 2day. if it is u, u have a fair sik car.
