Re: Boost

Looking for parts atm, im not gonna guy a kit they cost to much and i'd rather do it myself. Going for a small single turbo internal wastegate, top mount intercooler, bbm intake and fuel pressure regulator. Thats all gonna be done before end of the year hopefully. Turbo latemodel ute wheelspin heaven. Dayne

Re: Boost

Top mount intercooler ey? That'll be interesting :) Is that because you want to save some space up front, or just don't wanna run huge lengths of piping all around the engine bay?

Re: Boost

a bit of both i dont wanna cut any metal or the bumper aswell, and im guessing that the boost would hit a bit harder with less piping.
I know you don't loose much boost with a front mount but im gonna be running very low boost on a small turbo. i'd like to keep it in it's effieciant (spelling??) as possible.
also less cost im tring to do it on minimal budget.
Cheers dayne

Re: Boost

Yeah if I did it I'd go for a top mount, less lag that way.

I've given it a bit of thought the last few weeks and decided not to. N/A I should be able to get 160/170 at the rears and be happy with it. Then I'll have more money left over to spruce up the car as a whole and drive it round like that for a few years.
No point playing with insane power on my P's.

Hey Yags, what’s going on? These two statements are a little contradictory don’t you think?
