Hey lads... Ive been looking into putting a supacharger on my EB. Ive been to the capa web page and they have a powerdyne s/c avaliable for the eb.
I cant seem to find what this includes?? What needs to be moded/added (apart from the s/c unit) to the car?? Is there computer mods and stuff also?

Usually come with a chip or similar. (IMHO)if you want best result can the chip (-$250odd) ans spend a grand or so on a unichip. I put the vortec kit on my EL 6 and it was great. I then went the same Vortec on my auv8 and was great except computer management (BANG!!!). Pulled it apart and went back to stockish setup and sold s/c. Powerdyne if the $ aint there but Turbo!!! is prolly my next choice for my au as well as a well setup comp sys. Yes on the v8. I only intend on about 8psi with cooler. The vortec is better charger but harder to fit (oil lines) and extra $$$.
Oh but if you want the best setup on the falcon 6 GET A TURBO.
Just my 2c, hope it helps.
Oh, and the only other mods for a mild boost application would be to consider a headgasket upgrade. Port those heads while they're off good bang for bucks on 6cyl with boost.

Piss the FMU off and get proper sized injectors and maf..Using an 8:1 fmu/fuel reg is doing things on the cheap!!!!Not good for fuel economy/ EPA either they dump too much fuel as boost comes on, its not lineal enough!!!Imo..
For Spark control and you DON'T want to change eec, then I suggest either an MSD system or the Crane where spark can be retarded on % of boost...

Twice the price and no r&r time! Hmmmmm. best to go with kit and modify part you not happy with. A lot of performance mechs do this! esp with fuel & ecu set up.
Also a few shops i've spoken too and the kit i installed on my EL doesn't fit up perfect so expect to shim and adjust a few times. Don't get dismayed if you throw a belt.
