Yeah I think they said somewhere that they had made a couple of road cars with that or very similar spec engine. I would imagine a lot of heat shielding and ceramic coating would be needed

The glowing is normal, happens alot in gen 3s etc. and 90% of burnout cars, it would be fine in a street car.

Yep !!! Notice they dim the lights to show glowing manifolds...Even the wastegate glows so at boost there is still plenty of exhaust being vented / bypassed turbo..
