Forced Induction Focus - Any company willing?

G'day, my name is Tim and I own a Ford Focus with the Zetec engine in it, alot of the forum know me.

I have been trying to get in contact with a few tuners about some sort of forced induction for the car. CAPA have not replied to my emails (yet), they advertise kits for the car on their site, APS did reply and told me they weren't interested.

Are there any tuners that do want to have a go?

I am at the point of importing a kit from the US myself, or just giving up and buying an XA instead and keeping the Focus as a run around.

If anyone knows of any tuners that do it but may not use the forum, feel free to post as well. This is the final call or else the project is getting scrapped.

Regards, Tim

If you're serious about the kit, why not go and speak to your nearest CAPA fitter?

Re: Forced Induction Focus - Any company willing?

I have no idea where the nearest CAPA centre is, if they replied to any of my emails I might know. I couldn't find any store locations on their website, I'll wait until I get back from my trip to see if they have just been busy to be fair to them.

I am still very open to other options if anyone knows of any, or any tuners use this forum.

Tim

Re: Forced Induction Focus - Any company willing?

No, I haven't - haven't heard of Herrods offering any system for the Focus. I tried to locate their website but I couldn't - a quick search of the FFs and it seems their website went down and I assume still isn't back up?

I will have to call them it seems. I wasn't aware that they offer any forced induction system for the Focus though, but it's something to chase up. Thanks for the lead.

Tim

Give CAPA a call, they take ages to respond to emails (if at all) but they are happy to take you through everything on the phone.

Re: Forced Induction Focus - Any company willing?

Ok, thanks for the advice. I emailed Herrod, and will call CAPA if they don't get back to me by the time I get back from my trip.

Thanks again for your help. Tim!

Re: Forced Induction Focus - Any company willing?

Ok, thanks.

I called Rob Herrod this morning, and then emailed him some information, but not sure where that will go.

I rung CAPA instead of waiting for an email and got some good information too, as I was able to not being at work today.

I'll wait to hear back from Rob first and then make some decisions afterwards.

Thanks for the help. And why did Rob nearly choke when I mentioned your name, Laminge? J/k.

Tim
